It was established in Madrid in 1923 and through the course of the 20th century manufactured a number of light aircraft designs including Cierva autogyros. In 1954, AISA purchased the Spanish manufacturer Iberavia and took over the I-11 light plane project, eventually building around 400 examples. In 1982 it attempted, unsuccessfully, to market an autogyro design of its own, the GN.<br>The company was bought by CASA in 1995, but continues to operate under its own name.<br>List of Aircraft<br>Miles M.2 Hawk Trainer<br>González Gil-Pazó GP-1 (1934), two-seat trainer, No. 1 with improved fuselage and wing. The Spanish Republican Air Force ordered 100 units, but they were not all delivered owing to the Spanish Civil War. A total of 40 units were built.[1]<br>[2]<br>González Gil-Pazó GP-4<br>Iberavia I-11 (1951) - One-piston-engine two-seat trainer/touring aircraft with fixed tricycle undercarriage and side-by-side seating configuration. Two prototypes built<br>AISA I-11B (1952) AISA production version of I-11, with smaller canopy and tailwheel undercarriage. Used by civil aviation clubs and the Spanish Air Force.<br>AISA I-115 "E-6" (1950s) Variant of I-11B with revised fuselage incorporating tandem seating. One built; not produced<br>traducción del español al inglés<br>Aeronáutica Industrial SA, better known by its acronym AISA, was a Spanish aircraft construction company set to (Madrid) in 1923 by civil engineer George Loring Martínez.<br>Their main activity was initially in both the manufacture of aircraft and maintenance and repair thereof and helicopters.<br>Several early models autogyros Juan de la Cierva, as the Cierva C.12 Cierva C.7 and were built by AISA.<br>In 1954 acquired the Spanish aircraft manufacturer also Iberavia, becoming his office this project, and in 1999 the company becomes the property of Aeronautical Constructions SA<br>(CASA), although it continued to operate under its own name until 2002, where CASA became part of EADS and AISA became part of Eurocopter.<br>Models<br>During their working years, the company AISA has developed the following models:<br>AISA I-11<br>Training light aircraft.<br>2 prototypes built.<br>AISA I-11B<br>Training light aircraft.<br>Nicknamed Little, was the production version of the I-11, which came to be operated by the Air Force in Spain.<br>192 units were built.<br>AISA I-115<br>Previous two-seater variant, which had seats in tandem.<br>Operated in the Air Force in Spain, going up to build 200 units.<br>AISA GN<br>Autogyro developed between 1974 and 1982.<br>The project was abandoned after a crash only prototype built.<br>FURGON AVIA 2500 - AERONAUTICA INDUSTRIAL S.A.
